Fire protection
Village Pointe units are equipped with fire sprinklers, and the main smoke alarms are hardwired with detection on each floor. Required replacement alarms should remain hardwired.
Natural gas
Gas cooking ranges, gas clothes dryers and gas water heaters are common. Some units have gas fireplaces; Village Pointe does not have wood-burning fireplaces.
No basements
Village Pointe units do not have basements. Utility, storm and maintenance planning therefore differs from many detached New Jersey homes with basement equipment or sump pumps.
